THE HELP CENTRE

THE ANSWERS YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR

  • Do you offer a 2D drawing pack?
At the moment I do not offer a 2D package.
  • Do you take projects outside of the UK?
    Unfortunately not!
  • Can I see examples of finished designs?
Yes, I have designer portfolios which showcase my work, as well as my website and socials pages.
  • How are measurements done?
I use Rightmove listings, Google Maps and previous Planning Permission submissions as a first choice to get the measurements. This information usually provides everything I need, but I may ask for the odd photograph or measurement from you if required. In terms of providing measurements, don’t panic as you can download an app for this or alternatively, I can provide you with a guide on how to measure your rooms.
  • What are the advantages of having a 3D design?
3D designs allow you to see what the big changes look like before you actually do them, whether it’s remodelling your space or changes to your décor. They also allow you to see how your space and style preferences will work from any angle.
  • What if my house is a listed building?
If you live in a listed building there are extra controls over what changes can be made to the building’s interior and exterior. You will need to contact your local authority to ask for advice and then you may need to apply for listed building consent for the proposed work. Currently I do not apply for listed building consent on behalf of the client.
  • Are your services available across the UK?
    Yes!
  • Can you apply for planning permission or building control on my behalf?
I do not offer this service. However, if you do not wish to do this yourself, there are planning agencies that can help.
  • What does a Design Consultation involve?
We discuss your vision, needs and taste for the space that you are going to redecorate or redesign. We talk about that all-important budget, as well as the time frame within which you would like the project to be completed. We also take a virtual tour of your home, allowing us to address any design dilemmas. Finally, I make recommendations that will help you to achieve your ideal room.
  • What happens after the design Consultation?
Sneak Peek offers a range of 3D Room Design packages which are suitable for all budgets. Take a look at my Bronze, Silver and Gold options and get in touch to turn your plan into reality.
  • What does a Design Consultation cost?
The one-hour Design Consultation costs £100.
  • Is the Design Consultation fee refundable?
    No it isn’t
  • How does payment work?
The Design Consultation is payable upon booking. I accept all major credit cards and debit cards, and you can also pay via PayPal.
  • What’s included in my package?
Each package comes with its own specific set of details which are available on the website and are discussed in the free 15-minute Discovery Call.
  • Which 3D package should I choose?
I offer several packages depending on the size of your room and how it is used: Bronze package - £350 Silver package - £450 Gold package - custom quote. Each package is slightly different, so please check the details closely. Before booking a 3D package, please schedule your free 15-minute Discovery Call.
  • What happens first?
On receipt of your enquiry, we will have an initial chat about your project. The first chat is very exciting as it is great to hear what ideas you are hoping to achieve. It’s the first step to turn your dreams into reality! If you would like to know more please follow this link
  • Is the initial consultation free?
Yes, the initial Discovery Call is free.
  • How does payment work?
After our initial chat, and when you have completed the questionnaire, you will receive my quote. Once the quote is accepted, you will receive an invoice requesting a deposit of 50%, payable by credit/debit card or PayPal. You will also be able to pay via bank transfer if you prefer. The final invoice will be issued when the photorealistic images have been agreed.
  • How do you communicate with the client?
I work one-to-one with you. Ideally, I like to communicate via Zoom or FaceTime, but I would be also happy to do it over the phone or by email. Just let me know!
  • How do I receive my 3D design at the end?
I will send your final photo-realistic images via email or Dropbox.
  • How long until I get my designs back?
The design delivery time for a typical project varies on the complexity of the project but is normally between 10 - 15 working days.
  • Can I buy the items included in my digital images?
Most UK furniture suppliers do not create 3D models. However, I am happy to signpost a few websites where you can browse various styles and designs. I always use branded paints and wallpaper the details of which are provided at the end of the design process.
  • I know what I want so can you just give me advice?
It’s good news if you know what you like so if you just want advice, you can book a one-hour Design Consultation.
  • Can we use your designs and start the building work straight away?
After receiving your 3D designs you can start straight away. However if structural work is required, I would advise you to contact an architect, a structural engineer, a builder or an appropriate professional before work commences.
  • What if I don't like my designs? Can I change them?
Designing a home is a very personal experience and everyone has their own taste. Therefore throughout the design process there will be times where I will be checking to see if you are happy with the design. Toward the end of the design stage, once the materials and furniture have been added in, you will receive your first draft. At the stage you can ask for up to three changes depending on the selected package, and I will get to work until you are 100% happy.
